Cyprus Health Ministry has announced that a number of health workers are being accommodated in hotels, in an attempt to protect themselves and their families from the pandemic.
An announcement issued Sunday says that 80 health workers have expressed interest to be put up in hotels, because the conditions at their homes are not suitable to safeguard themselves and their loved ones.
The Ministry says that the accommodation was made possible as we need to ensure that all health workers are safe, healthy and stay on the frontline.
The Ministry also expresses deep gratitude to them for their job amid the pandemic, pointing out that their contribution is significant in the battle against the virus.
