The Greek Foreign Ministry has described the trilateral meeting in Berlin as a positive step towards the solution of the Cyprus problem.
A statement issued by the Ministry spokesperson, Αlexandros Yennimatas, said that “the meeting in Berlin constitutes a positive step in the effort to resolve the Cyprus issue, which remains a top priority of the Greek foreign policy”.

According to the Greek Foreign Ministry, “the meeting confirmed the commitment to the need for a solution that is based on the Resolutions of the United Nations Security Council. It affirmed the need for speedy resolution of the issue and the UN Secretary General’s intention to continue in this direction”.
“As always, Greece will be ready and willing at all times to assist the UN Secretary General Guterres in his efforts”, the statement concluded.
