A Cyprus House delegation, headed by House President Demetris Syllouris, arrived on Sunday evening at the Chinese city Guangzhou, last stop of its visit to China, paid at the invitation of the National People’s Congress and aiming to further boost the cooperation between Cyprus and China in various fields.

The delegation will visit on Monday 11/11, accompanied by Cypriot businesspeople, high technology Exhibition Halls and companies and will hold a meeting with the Chairperson of the Provincial People’s Congress Li Yumei.
 
On Tuesday 12/11 it will attend the China-Cyprus Business Forum hosted by the Cyprus Investment Promotion Association (CIPA) and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), which the House President will address.
 
Meanwhile on Sunday 10/11 the Cypriot delegation visited prior to its departure from Shenzhen city Chinese high-tech company BYD that is related to electronics, automobiles, new energy and rail transit and focuses on providing zero-emission energy solutions.

The parliamentary delegation comprises MPs Nicos Tornaritis, Yiorgos T. Georgiou, Christakis Tziovanis, Yiorgos Prokopiou, Elias Myrianthous and Michalis Giorgallas. Member of the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency Board of Directors Nicolas Theocharides also participates in the delegation.
 
The delegation that has also visited Shanghai and Beijing will return to Cyprus on November 13.
