President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades and Greek Premier Kyriakos Mitsotakis spoke on Monday on the phone to discuss the latest developments, with Government Spokesman Prodromos Prodromou noting that there is absolute alignment in their goals.
 
Prodromou posted a message on twitter, saying that President Anastasiades informed the Prime Minister of Greece about the latest developments and the two men had a long telephone conversation to exchange views and to plan the moves ahead.
 
“With absolute alignment in their goals, our two governments proceed and coordinate closely” Prodromou concluded.
