Greek Deputy Foreign Minister to visit Cyprus 

During his stay in Cyprus, Diamataris will be received by the President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades

Greek Deputy Minister responsible for expatriate Greeks Antonis Diamataris will pay a two-day visit to Cyprus on August 27 and 28, during which he will participate in the 20th World Conference of Overseas Cypriots, that will take place in Nicosia.

During his stay in Cyprus, Diamataris will be received by the President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades and will meet with Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulides.

He is also scheduled to hold separate meetings with the President of the House of Represenatives Demetris Syllourirs and Presidential Commissioner, Photis Photiou, while he will attend a working lunch with Archbishop Chrystostomos.

Diamataris will furthermore attend a tripartite meeting among Greece, Cyprus and Armenia on diaspora issues.

According to the Greek Foreign Ministry, Dimataris will also visit the Imprisoned Graves in Nicosia, a cemetery for 13 Greek Cypriots killed by the British during the anti-colonial struggle in the mid 50s, Tymvos military cemetery in Makedonitissa, the Hellenic Force in Cyprus camp, as well as the grave of Cypriot philanthopist George Paraskevaides.
